Visting Team Information
Welcome to the home of the Arden Park Dolphins. We are excited to host you at our next meet!
Our pool is located in the Arden Park community at 1000 La Sierra Drive, Sacramento, CA 95864. A small parking lot is available on-site; however, most parking will be located on the nearby street. Please do not block driveways. Only service dogs are allowed on the fenced area around the pool deck.
We have a 6-lane pool with a Time Drops timing system. Our Time Drops code is 1962. Timers will move to the other side of the pool for the 25-year events, allowing swimmers to start from the blocks. Parents are welcome to watch races from our bleachers or the pool deck, though we ask that you to be conscious of others who will be watching their swimmers after you.
Times to Note:
- Scratch Meeting: AP @ 7:00 AM / Visiting @ 7:15 AM
- Warmups: AP @ 7:00-7:35 AM / Visiting @ 7:35-8:10 AM
- Volunteer Check-in: 7:15 AM
- Team Cheers & 1st Shift Volunteers in Place: 8:00 AM
- Meet Start: 8:30 AM (relays report directly to the blocks)
Volunteers:
- Lane Timers: 9 per shift
- Ready Bench: 2 per shift
- Stroke & Turn Judge: 2 per Shift
- Early Takeoff Judge: 2 per Shift
- Ribbon Writer: 1 or 2 second shift
Dolphin Bistro:
Menus may vary from meet to meet, however, these selections are usually available:
- Drinks: Sodas, Gatorade, coffee, hot chocolate, iced and hot tea, and water.
- Breakfast: Bagels with cream cheese, burritos, muffins or donuts, pancakes, and oatmeal.
- Lunch: Hamburger, cheeseburger, hot dog, tri-tip sandwich, Chinese chicken salad, nachos, cup-o-noodles.
- Assorted chips and treats.
Visiting Team Entries:
- We need to vacate the pool area by 2:00 PM for recreational swim and will plan for the last relay to wrap by 1:30 PM.
- Max of 3 individual events and 2 relays per swimmer.
- Relays are limited to 1 heat, 3 entries per team.
- Events limited to 2 heats:
- Event #'s 12-15 (IM for ages 9-10, 11-12)
- Event #'s 44-47 (Long free for ages 7-8, 9-10)
- Visiting team entries and roster are due to Nate George at [email protected] by 6:00 PM on Thursday. If more time is necessary, please reach out.
- Scratches/relay changes will be accepted up to 6:00 PM Friday, otherwise will handle at scratch.
