Hello Dolphins Families,

Happy Monday!

What a great weekend of swimming! We had 162 athletes come together and compete at Championships, and we could not be more proud of the effort, determination, and heart that every swimmer brought to the pool. Our athletes dropped a ton of time, earned numerous top 10 finalist spots, and achieved many individual high point awards. It was an incredible way to finish the season!

This was a long and challenging Championships, and our team showed what it means to be an Arden Park Dolphin. This year was especially exciting because we moved up a conference from last year and still finished 2nd place behind Del Norte by about 40 points. This is an amazing accomplishment and a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and growth of our entire team.

The coaches are extremely proud of every athlete who showed up, stepped behind the blocks, and gave their best effort. Whether you earned an award, achieved a personal best, supported a teammate, or simply fought through a tough race, every contribution mattered and helped make this team successful. We are so proud of all the athletes who came out and competed, your commitment and team spirit made this weekend special.

Congratulations to all of our swimmers who qualified for the Meet of Champions! If you made an individual final at Championships, you have qualified for this exciting opportunity. More information about Meet of Champions practices, registration, and meet details will be coming out soon. Please keep an eye on your emails for all of the important information.

Looking ahead to next year, we know what this team is capable of. We were just 40 points away from the top spot, and with all of our athletes committed, prepared, and present at Championships, we believe we can reach that goal. Every swimmer matters, every race matters, and every point counts. We will continue to work together, support each other, and strive to bring home the Championship title next season.

Thank you to all of our athletes and families for your dedication, commitment, and support throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of this team and everything you accomplished. We cannot wait to continue building on this success together.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our amazing parent volunteers for your time, energy, and dedication throughout the entire swim season. From helping at meets and coordinating events to cheering on our swimmers and making Championship weekend a success, your support made all the difference. Your countless hours behind the scenes helped create a fun, positive, and memorable experience for every athlete. We truly couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for being such an important part of our swim family!

AWARDS NIGHT – Tuesday, July 21, 2026

Now that Champs is over, it’s time to celebrate our amazing season. Awards Night is tomorrow (Tuesday) at Arden Park at 6:30pm. This is a fun, relaxed night where we get to celebrate all the hard work our swimmers, coaches, and parents have put in during the season and acknowledge some highlights from the season. This event is a BYOPD event – Bring Your Own Picnic Dinner.

BEAD LADY

If your swimmer was not able to pick up their beads at Champs, fear not! The Bead Lady will be at Awards Night with her beads.

OPEN BOARD POSITIONS

As we wrap up another great season, we’re looking ahead and preparing for next year—and we’d love to have you involved!
Several Board positions are opening up, and we’re looking for parents who are willing to help keep our team strong. Serving on the Board is a wonderful way to make a positive impact on our swimmers and our swim community. Board terms are 3 years, and we meet once a month. Board members are welcome to run again for additional terms—there are no term limits.
The following positions are open:
● Vice President (1 year serving as Vice President, followed by 2 years as President)
● Treasurer
● Secretary
If you’d like to be considered for the ballot or have questions about any of the roles, please reply to this email ASAP. We’d be happy to tell you more about what’s involved.
