SWIMTOPIA/MEET MAESTRO

Tomorrow we will again be using Meet Maestro (via the Swimtopia app) to run the swim meet. To access your swimmer’s information through Swimtopia, check out the pdf attached to this email. Thank you for your patience as we continue to transition over to this new system (away from Meet Mobile). This transition will help us be better prepared to use it at Swim Champs next weekend. Just like Meet Mobile, there is some info available via the free Swimtopia app. But you can also pay $5.99/month for more in-depth information. There is also a 7-day free trial that you can do to see if the in-depth information is something you would like to have access to.

We will also be using Time Drops so swimmer’s information will be available there as well.

LAPAPALOOZA - PRIZE PICKUP

Prizes are arriving today and will be ready to be passed out at the swim meet tomorrow. If your swimmer earned a prize, please visit the apparel table to get your prize.

Our 7/8s raised the most $$ for our team so they have earned a popsicle party! The popsicles will be handed out after the7/8’s practice this Tuesday (7/14). Great job, 7/8s!

SWIM CHAMPIONSHIPS

I know many of you are waiting for Champs info. It’s almost here! Sunday’s News Splash will include ALL the Champs info, including where to setup tents, when you can setup, where to park, etc. Stay tuned.

PASTA NIGHT

Champs Pasta Night will be next Thursday, July 16^th at the Arden Park BBQ/Picnic area. Pasta Night is our annual pep rally to get pumped up and carb-loaded for Champs! Please note: there will be no swim practice on Pasta Night.

6:45 pm  Potluck dinner begins

7:15 pm  Car decorating

This year, we will be doing our Pasta Night as a potluck. Please see the list below to see how your family can contribute:

A-E   Bring a protein

F-H   Bring a pasta

I-M    Bring fruit

N-S   Bring bread or appetizer

T-Z   Bring a salad

The swim team will provide drinks and desserts!

Car Decorating – Following the carb-loading and parent relays try-outs, it will be time for another fun Arden Park Dolphin tradition . . . Car decorating! It’s time to clean your car windows (clean windows work best for this) and decorate your car windows to offer well wishes to our athletes and teammates! Grab your chalk markers and get ready to decorate!

Last year, we had a few unfortunate situations where non-swim team cars were “decorated” and the owners of those cars were not especially happy about it. So please supervise your children as they decorate YOUR car (and only your car).
