NOTES FROM THE COACH

Hello Dolphins! Happy Sunday! I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend off and had a chance to get some rest and relaxation.

Lapapalooza was a huge success and so much fun on Friday! Thank you to everyone who participated. If you missed it, there is still time to raise money for the team and earn prizes. We will be accepting donations until this Friday, June 19. Every dollar raised goes directly back into our program to help fund improvements and essential equipment such as kickboards, lane lines, and timing equipment.

Morning Practice begins tomorrow - This week, we're back to lots of swimming! Morning practices begin tomorrow and will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. These practices are in addition to our regular afternoon practices and will focus on starts, turns, finishes, and other technical details. We'll also be incorporating parachute swims, stretch bands, and running dives.

Morning Practice Schedule:

11 & Up: 7:00–8:15 AM

7–10: 8:15–9:00 AM

6 & Under: 8:30–9:00 AM

Swim Meet vs. Galt - We also have a swim meet this weekend against Galt! The sign-in/sign-out deadline is tonight at midnight, so please be sure to log in and accept or decline your attendance. While this is not a conference meet, we still want all Dolphins there to continue improving, racing hard, and achieving new best times!

A quick note: Coach Haley is having ankle surgery on Tuesday and will be out for about a week. She'll be at practice on Monday, so if you see her, be sure to wish her luck and a speedy recovery!
