NOTES FROM THE COACH

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. It was a long meet on Saturday, but we pulled off another win: Arden Park 517, Fair Oaks 312! Way to go, Dolphins! We are so proud of all of you and the hard work you've been putting in this season.

We are officially halfway through our meet season! We have just three dual meets remaining, plus Championships. Let's finish the season as strong as we started!

There is no swim meet this weekend, so hopefully everyone can get some well-deserved rest and enjoy the break. You can now declare your attendance for the final three meets if you haven't done so already. Please remember that swimmers must attend at least two regular-season meets to be eligible for Championships.

Championships is not optional, all Dolphins are expected to attend!

I also want to send a huge shoutout to our 2026 Arden Park Dolphin graduates: Morgan George, Preston Joyce, Sydney Ketsdever, and Annie Laing! Congratulations to all of you! These Dolphins have been swimming with Arden Park since they were 6 and 7 years old. If you see them around the pool, be sure to congratulate them on this incredible accomplishment.

We have lots of exciting things happening this week:

Tuesday is the last day of school for many of our athletes, so we may have something fun planned at practice!

Friday is Lapapalooza! This is a great opportunity to raise money for our team while challenging yourself to swim as many laps as possible during your scheduled practice time.

June 15 marks the start of morning practices! These practices are in addition to afternoon workouts and provide an opportunity to get in some extra training. The schedule will be coming soon, so keep an eye out for more information.

LAPAPALOOZA IS THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 12TH

Did you setup your swimmer's fundraising page yet? The biggest fundraiser of the year is this Friday and we need your help to make it a success! During your child’s regularly scheduled swim practice, they will have the opportunity to help raise funds for our team by swimming as many laps as they can during their practice time. It will be a super fun day for the swimmers with music, decorations, and a sweet treat to enjoy after they swim as many laps as possible. We will need some help tracking swimmers’ laps so try to stick around that day to help count!

Fundraising will be done through Zeffy this year. Zeffy makes it easy for you to send your swimmer’s info out to friends and families to help raise funds. To get started, we need EVERY family to set up their swimmer’s personal page. It takes less than a minute:

2.Click the FUNDRAISE button

3.Choose JOIN A TEAM to choose the age group from the drop down.

4.Type in your swimmer’s name, set a friendly goal (we suggest $150), and add a picture if you’d like.

Once submitted, Zeffy will give you a custom link. Text or email that link to family, friends, and neighbors!
