Hello AP Dolphins,

The 1st day of practice is almost here! We are so excited to see all of our swimmers at the pool Monday, April 6th!

Practices will be Monday-Friday with times as follows:

• 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm – 6&Unders
• 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm – 7/8s
• 5:45 pm - 6:30 pm – 9/10s
• 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm – 11/12s
• 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm – 13s and up (Fridays will be 11s and up from 6:30-7:30)

WELCOME BACK BBQ & NEW FAMILY ORIENTATION

Please join us for the Welcome Back BBQ this Friday, March 27th.

New Family Orientation at 5:00pm

All new families are encouraged to attend the New Family Orientation prior to the BBQ at 5:00pm in the Arden Park Clubhouse. We will be going over most things a new family will need to know including practices, parent jobs, meets, and general swim team information. Returning families are also welcome to attend to get a refresh of all things AP Swim.

Welcome Back BBQ at 5:30pm

All families (new and returning) are encouraged to come meet other swim families and have some BBQ provided by our AP BBQ Crew (hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, water, and lemonade will be provided). Food will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. The BBQ will take place under the large Oak tree in the BBQ area at Arden Park.

Swim Swap

We will be hosting a Suit Swap this year to help reuse outgrown swimsuits and share with our community. Please bring any used swimsuits in good condition to the Welcome Back BBQ to pass on to another swimmer. All sizes are needed for both boys and girls. Black competition swimsuits and practice swimsuits in any color are welcome, but please bring only swimsuits suitable for training (no bikinis, board shorts, rash guards, etc.). All swimmers, new and returning, are welcome to peruse swimsuits and snag something they can use for the upcoming season. This is a great way for us to share and grow our community while reducing waste and saving a little cash.

DOLPHIN DUOS

Dolphin Duos is back! The purpose of this buddy program is to develop team cohesion and spirit. An older swimmer will be assigned to a younger swimmer, who will be buddies for the season. Buddies are expected to support and cheer each other on at meets. Participation in the buddy program is voluntary. When considering the program, please make sure you can commit to being a buddy and participate in buddy activities. Sign-ups begin on April 1^st. Buddy activities are scheduled for the following:

6/20 – Home Meet (Details to Come)

Did you register with the Northern California Swim League (NCSL)? If you have not completed this step yet, please do so ASAP. Click here to register. After you complete registration with NCSL, please email a copy to our AP Registrar at [email protected].
