Welcome Back Dolphins!
Arden Park Dolphin Families,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to welcome both new and returning families to the 2025 swim season. The Arden Park Dolphins swim team has a rich history in this community and provides many great memories for our swimmers and their families. The swim team was established in 1962, and we are excited to keep the tradition going during this, our 62nd season.
This year, we have over 220 swimmers competing in one of several Northern California Swim League conferences. Our season kicks off with time trials, where all swimmers set their starting times for the season, after which dual meets will commence. Typically, there are three (3) home meets and three (3) away meets
per season, but this can vary year over year. Meets are essential to the team as we build momentum towards our league championships on July 26th and 27th.
Additionally, the Dolphins will compete in NCSL championships, aka “champs”. Champs is a chance for our swimmers to challenge themselves and best their times set during the season, support each other and demonstrate our abilities to the entire conference. Please Remember, ALL SWIMMERS who qualify for a “final” at champs, automatically become eligible for the Meet of Champions the following weekend. While we recognize illnesses occur, participation in dual meets and NCSL Championships is mandatory.
Our swim team’s success can be attributed to our swimmers’ hard work, parent involvement, and talented coaching staff. This year, we are fortunate to have all our excellent coaches returning for the 2025 season. Sabrina Henley will return as Head Coach. Haley Furlong, Ryan Jones, Jillian Halloran, and Chase Isley will also return.
The Board is excited to announce we are in the process of updating old equipment and replacing canopies that show severe effects of time. We hope all of you will participate in each of our fundraising efforts this year, as registration fees alone are not enough to meet the financial needs of non-profit recreational swim teams.
