AP Dolphins Registration

Registration for the 2010 swim season is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2010. Times are as follows:

Returning swimmers from 2009 season:   8:00 am - 10:00 am
New swimmers (Arden Park residents):   10:00 am - 12:00 pm
New swimmers (all others)               :   11:00 am - 12:00 pm

*NEW SWIMMERS NEED TO PROVIDE A PHOTOCOPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE AT REGISTRATION.

Late Registration: After February 27, you may register by contacting our Registrar, Cathy Phillips, at alanphillips90@hotmail.com. A $25 late fee will be added to the regular fee after March 6.

New families can request to have a registration packet mailed to them by contacting our Registrar, Cathy Phillips, at alanphillips90@hotmail.com.

READINESS TEST

All new swimmers will be required to demonstrate their readiness for swim team by participating in a swim readiness test. Readiness test requirements can be found on the Registration Forms page. Readiness Tests will be held on April 8 and 9 at 4:00 pm for 6&U swimmers, and on April 1 during regular practice times for swimmers 7 years and older.

The 6 & Under, 7 -8 girls and 9-10 girls age groups are currently closed to new swimmers. Waiting lists will be established on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our swim team runs because of you, our wonderful parent volunteers! Each family is required to sign up for five jobs this season. The number of Championship jobs will be determined at a later date. Please look at the meet schedule, bring your calendar and be prepared to sign up at registration. The early sign-ups will get the jobs they want. Later sign-ups will have to fill in where necessary.

Each year we strive to make sure that every family does their fair share. Yet inevitably, a few people simply do not show up for their assigned meet jobs, resulting in more work for their fellow parents. All families are required to submit a separate check at registration for $200 as a job deposit. This check will not be deposited if the five-job requirement is met by the end of the regular season.

The final meet of the year is Championships. It is a two day meet and the high point of the season where swimmers see the results of their hard work. All swimmers are expected to attend Championships.

6&U swimmers will be offered two sessions, March 9-March 18, T-Th-F and March 18-March 26, T-Th-F.

California Swim Shop will have team suits available to order at registration. Prices for the suits (including tax) are as follows:
